Coromandel Sea Salt begins with seawater drawn from New Zealand's eastern Coromandel coast. We let sunshine, coastal wind and time do the work, slowly solar-evaporating the water before each small batch is harvested by hand.

The result is an unrefined sea salt with the natural mineral character, texture and subtle variation of the sea it came from. Nothing is added: no anti-caking agents, bleaching agents or artificial additives.

Created by the team behind Opito Bay Salt Company, Coromandel Sea Salt brings the same multi-award-winning natural sea salt to a wider group of customers, with a focus on provenance, purity and transparency through independent analysis.
